Quality Section Head

Cairo

  • Manages and coordinates hospital-wide efforts to ensure that performance management (PM) and quality improvement (QI) programs are developed and managed using a data driven focus that sets priorities for improvements aligned to ongoing strategic imperatives.
  • Follow up on the implementation of the suggested actions from the rounds performed by the Quality team members.
  • Follow-up with concerned parties on corrective / preventive actions.
  • Follow-up the coverage of the training sessions to all hospital departments and that 100% of the required attendees have received their training.
  • Validates randomly to 25% of the performed rounds and feedback with the concerned quality team member in case of validity level less than 90%. (Validity is measured through comparing the result of the quality team member round score and the quality supervisor round score.)
  • Prepares the compliance program for each round as well as develops efficient and effective assurance activities.
  • Ensures that all planned trainings are performed and submit “training report” to the quality manager on a monthly basis
  • Manages and monitors the implementation of project plan through identifying potential risks and project’s resource requirements (manpower, time, equipment, materials, etc.).
  • Develops project plans including business case, contingencies, critical paths, and project management tools and techniques to improve the current hospital quality status.
  • Monitor the medication errors or drug interaction incidence are kept to the minimum and that all staff members are compliant with set policies & procedures in assessment, double checking & administration.
  • Collects and reviews the data from each quality member who is assigned on a department according to his/her KPI reports and assess the data compliance according to (CUIKA).
  • Submits on a monthly basis to the quality Manager all KPI reports including:
  • KPI Trend.
  • Identified root cause for each KPI report
  • .Last Month corrective actions per each KPI report and their status.
  • Recognizes when the emotion and content do not appear to be in sync.

Requirments


  • Gender: Any
  • Age group: 30 -35 years old
  • Language needed: Arabic&English
  • Essential/Preferable Education: Bachelor degree of Pharmacy, Medicine, Dentistry.( Medical Background is a must )
  • Years of Experience/ Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in quality improvement in relevant hospitals or healthcare entities.
  • Comprehensive understanding of health care organizations best practices & protocols.
  • Previous experience on Egyptian accreditation whether governmental or private hospital
  • Experience leading, motivating, and training team members, monitoring & assessing skills.
  • Leadership skills, critical & analytical thinking, innovation & initiativity of improvement processes, act as a knowledge resource for other team members, adaptability & flexibility.
  • Advanced statistical analysis skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office tools.
  • Essential/Preferable Certifications: TQM/ MQM & CPHQ
