Job Objective(s):

  • Planning & Monitoring:
  • Leads the development of comprehensive strategic frameworks.
  • Oversees the development of comprehensive strategic frameworks that align with the organization's vision and mission.
  • Provides strategic guidance and mentorship to SMO Specialists and other team members.
  • Conducts strategic assessments to identify emerging trends, market opportunities, and potential threats.
  • Develops contingency plans to address potential risks and uncertainties.
  • Leads strategic planning workshops and facilitated sessions.
  • Senior SMO Specialist – responsible for establishing and running the Project Management Office with the objective of ensuring all projects are delivered using a ‘best-practice’ Project Implementation Approach and are delivered within the agreed scope, time, cost and quality
  • Operational Excellence:
  • Drives large-scale change transformations, including organizational restructuring, technology implementations, or cultural shifts.
  • Leads the development and implementation of continuous improvement programs that drive operational excellence.
  • Ensures alignment between operational activities and strategic objectives.
  • Fosters a culture of innovation and excellence by encouraging experimentation and risk-taking.
  • Plays a key role in shaping the organization's strategic direction and has significant influence over senior leadership.
  • Oversees complex strategic initiatives, such as corporate-wide strategic transformations, mergers and acquisitions, or new market entry strategies.
